New Skate Park For Ballyfermot.

"After years of hard work, meetings, planning, research and commitment we have finally got a design for the new Play Park that will be built very soon in Le Fanu Park beside the Leisure Center.

Well done to all our young people who have been involved in this fantastic project. This is the final design that we will be working with.."

"In September 2015 Irish Architecture Foundation, with the support of The Matheson Foundation and Dublin City Council, launched a two-stage international design competition aimed at finding innovative proposals for a new combined play and skate / BMX park in Ballyfermot, west Dublin. In this short video our winners - London based architecture practice Relational Urbanism - describe their plans for the space and their approach to co-designing it with the community."
